Who we are

Wishbar is made and sold by Suvegasoft Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 05236140, registered office 3 Rawthey Avenue, Didcot, Oxfordshire, OX11 7XN ("we", "us"). You can reach us any time at hello@wishbar.app.

What Wishbar is

Wishbar is a macOS menu bar application that builds and runs small personal widgets from your plain-English descriptions. It does this using an AI account you already have (a free ChatGPT account, used as Codex, or a paid Claude plan). Wishbar does not include, resell, or proxy those AI services: your use of them is governed by your own agreement with those providers, and their fees are yours. Widgets are built and run on your own machine, inside Wishbar's managed workspace, and every change the assistant makes to your widget's files can be kept or undone with one click.

Buying Wishbar

Wishbar is available through our checkout partner Polar as either a free 7-day trial or a one-time purchase; for a purchase, Polar takes the payment and is the seller shown on your receipt, and Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment itself. Completing either checkout puts your licence key in your Polar customer portal, which Polar's confirmation email links to. The trial licence expires after 7 days and does not renew or charge you automatically; a paid licence opens your saved widgets again. The free trial is one per Mac: a second trial licence will not unlock Wishbar on a Mac that has already had one. Prices are shown at checkout including any applicable taxes for your location.

Your licence

Your trial or purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Wishbar on the number of devices stated at checkout, for any personal or commercial work of your own. Updates to the app are included. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share licence keys, and you may not misrepresent the app as your own work.

Fair and lawful use

Widgets you create run on your machine and remain your responsibility. Use Wishbar only in ways that are lawful where you live, and respect the terms of any data source or service a widget of yours connects to. We may decline support, refuse a sale, or revoke a licence obtained fraudulently.

Refunds

Every purchase carries a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. The short and full versions live in the refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Email

Joining our email list from the site is optional and separate from getting the app; it is governed by the consent shown at signup and by the privacy policy. If you claim the trial or buy Wishbar and do not opt out at checkout, we send product updates and notes from the maker to the address you used there. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects your licence.

Usage data

Wishbar sends usage data about how the app is used: whether it runs, where people get stuck, and what it costs to run. That data is tied to an id for your installation and, once you activate, to your licence and each Mac you use. It never includes your wishes, your prompts, your files, your name, your email or your licence key. The ids are one-way codes, though as the seller we can connect one back to a customer account when we need to. You can switch usage data off in Settings, and Wishbar works the same with it off. The full list of what is sent is in the privacy policy.

What we promise, and the limits of it

We work hard to make Wishbar reliable, and the refund policy lets you get your money back if it is not right for you. Wishbar is provided "as is". Where the law allows, we make no promises about Wishbar beyond those written here, and we do not accept liability for indirect losses or for third-party services a widget connects to. We do not exclude liability that the law says we must accept, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are unchanged.

Changes and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the effective date above changes with them and material changes will be noted on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. 1 October 2026: added that the free trial is one per Mac, under Buying Wishbar.
